How to arrive to/ cómo llegar a Tarragona

Most of you are receiving or will receive soon our wedding invitation and those coming from abroad will soon book their flights. Please find here some tips:
1) You can flight with Ryanair to Reus airport. The tickets are quite cheap if you book in advance. Once in Reus airport you can catch a bus to Tarragona (make sure is not to Reus city center!!!!). This bus leaves from outside the airport arrivals doorway. It stops at Tarragona bus station as its final destination (3 EUR), but the schedules are quite bad. The best option is to catch a taxi to your hotel in Tarragona (+/- 30 EUR) or to hire a car at the airport.

Transfers From Reus Airport - Buses to Tarragona bus station.
2) You could decide to arrive to Barcelona airport "El Prat" and come to Tarragona from there. Then we would suggest to use the bus (there is no direct train to Tarragona). The buses from the Barcelona Airport (El Prat) toTarragona leave from TERMINAL 1 (departure from stop N°7). Line:"Barcelona-Tarragona-Salou-Reus". The bus company is called PLANA, and the bus schedule can be found here. (Last bus on Friday 08 April at 22:40!!! Buy the ticket in the bus)
You can also hire a car at the airport.

3) You could also decide to stay in Barcelona. Then you can come by train (the easiest way). The trains to Tarragona leave from Sants station. Line: "Barcelona-Tarragona-Tortosa" RENFE (only in Spanish...), Telephone. +34 902 240202.
Please note that the last train to Barcelona the day of the wedding (09/04/11) leaves Tarragona at 21:00!!! 18096 R. Express

Wedding etiquette: Dress Code / Qué me pongo?

No particular dress code is required for our wedding and you don't have to wear orange and purple ...only if you insist... ;-)
So feel free to wear all what makes you happy and gorgeous!

Just bear in mind the following:
1) In Tarragona temperatures in April are mild and range from 9 to 19 ° C , and the weather might be rainy but the rain does not generally last long and brightness is usually just around the corner. Therefore a light jacket/ coat would be helpful specially in the late afternoon/ early evening.
2) This is a Spring mid-afternoon wedding so think about wearing light colours!
3) There will be some walking from the Town Hall to the restaurant (+/- 15 min.)...then dear ladies on high heels...if you want, please foresee a second pair of more comfy shoes for this part.

Para nuestra boda no hay que vestirse de una manera particular y no tenéis que venir de naranja y morado ... salvo si realmente lo queréis, claro ;-)
Así que no dudéis en poneros lo que os haga feliz y guap@s!

Sólo hay que tener en cuenta lo siguiente:
1) En Tarragona las temperaturas en abril son suaves y oscilan entre los 9-19 º C, el tiempo puede ser lluvioso, pero la lluvia no suele durar mucho y el sol luce de nuevo enseguida. Así que una chaqueta / abrigo ligero os será de gran ayuda especialmente por la tarde/noche.
2) Se trata de una boda de tarde y en primavera, así que pensad en llevar colores claros!
3) Habrá un corto paseo a pie desde el Ayuntamiento hasta el restaurante (+/-15 min)... por ello estimadas damas de tacón alto ... si quieren, por favor, prevéan un segundo par de zapatos más cómodos para esta parte.
